Link 51 Office place great emphasis on the safe design, installation and technical performance of all of the company's storage products. Link 51 was one of the original founder member companies of the Storage Equipment Manufacturers' Association (SEMA), the national trade association for the storage equipment industry within the UK.

Wherever possible, Link 51 Office conform to SEMA's 'industry standard' codes of practice which cover aspects of design, installation and health & safety practice relating to the supply of shelving, racking and other storage equipment. Link 51 products also conform to BS5454 a British Standard for the storage of archive materials.

Link 51's own method statements and procedures are based on the published SEMA guidelines including the 'Guide to Method Statements for the Installation of Storage Equipment' and the 'Code of Practice for the Design of Low-Rise Static Shelving'.
